If you ask about prices and availability, but they respond by asking you to join their WhatsApp for more details, or if their answers are incomplete, this could be a red flag. Royal Balloon's email communication had no issues, with a professional business tone that was reassuring. All questions received detailed responses.&nbsp;</li><li><strong>Good online reputation: </strong>Their discussion volume is generally high on both Taiwanese and English-language websites&nbsp;</li><li><strong>Comprehensive website:</strong> Besides having a modern-looking website, they introduce their balloon pilots and the balloons themselves.&nbsp;</li><li><strong>Celebrity endorsement: </strong>Bhutanese royal family members came to Cappadocia for hot air balloon rides, they chose this company.&nbsp;</li><li><strong>Upgrade promotion: </strong>Different balloon companies offer different promotions. Royal Balloon offers an upgrade from a 20-person balloon price to a 16-person balloon.</li></ol><p>&nbsp; Also worth mentioning, when we booked, it was around 290 euros, but several months later, the price decreased slightly while the euro exchange rate increased slightly. With these offsetting changes, the TWD amount remained about the same, so we didn't rebook (their cancellation policy would have allowed this).</p><p>&nbsp; After providing relevant information in the email (hotel, number of people, your balloon choice), Royal Balloon sends a credit card payment link. Basically, once payment is complete, you're all set.</p><h3 id="heading-h3-6">On the Day of the Balloon Ride</h3><p>&nbsp; The day before, Royal Balloon sent an email confirming the next day's pickup time. Early the next morning, Royal Balloon sent 9-seater vans to various locations to transport people to their hotel, which was the gathering point. Breakfast was provided with some bread and drinks. Here they announced that flying wasn't possible that day, offering<strong> refunds</strong> or <strong>waitlist spots for the next day</strong>. Then they transported customers back. The <strong>next day's waitlist</strong> didn't guarantee flying or sunrise flights - it depended on available space, with confirmation expected after 10 AM that day. During this waiting period, we looked for other balloon companies with confirmed sunrise flight slots for the next day, but each told us they also needed to wait until after 10 AM for confirmation, or they were fully booked. It happened to be the second day that week with no flights, so each company probably had accumulated tourists. Around 9:30 AM, Royal Balloon emailed to confirm they could accommodate us in the next day's sunrise flight. However, instead of the 16-person small balloon, we'd need to switch to a 20-person one.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp; The next day followed the same process. This time, while waiting at the hotel, we finally received confirmation that we could fly. Everyone boarded the 9-seaters again and headed to the balloon launch site. People gathered around the balloons, names were called, and we entered the balloon in sequence.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp; Notable was that the balloon's large basket was divided into sections, each fitting about six people. Generally, when people stood in place it became very tight, with people pressed against each other, but in our section there were just four of us - my friends and me. The space was very roomy, allowing us to switch positions within the section for photos. id="heading-h3-5">訂購</h3><p>有賴於現代網路的便捷，自行預定非常方便。在收集完所有熱氣球公司的資料與評論後。我們團決定選擇Royal Balloon。詢問10月價錢的時候大概是2023/05月，各大公司基本上都有10月的價錢了。</p><p>雖然Royal Ballon現在訂購還是需要信件來往，但是這樣的情況也未必就不好。卡帕多奇亞是個旅遊業旺盛的地方，但是其網路便利性可能還未普及。這樣的情況下，有些細節可以觀察以及避免踩雷。<br>我們選擇的原因如下：</p><ol><li><strong>訂購信件溝通順暢</strong>：在直接訂購這類的產品的時候，最先可以觀察的部分就是回信的品質，如果你問了價錢及有無名額，結果回答是請你加入他的whatsapp討論更多細節，或者回答漏東漏西的，這個可能是個信號。<br>&nbsp;Royal Ballon的回信溝通沒有任何問題，專業的商業口吻讓人很安心。各種問題都有詳細回復。</li><li><strong>網路口碑還不錯</strong>：他們的討論度在台灣或者英文網路基本上都算高</li><li><strong>網站介紹完整</strong>：除了他們的網站看起來像個現代網站，他們有介紹自己的熱氣球駕駛員跟熱氣球本身。</li><li><strong>名人加持</strong>：不丹皇室來到卡帕多奇亞搭熱氣球的時候就是選擇他們家。</li><li><strong>升級優惠</strong>：每間熱氣球的優惠不一樣，Royal Ballon提供的優惠是以20人熱氣球的錢升級16人熱氣球。</li></ol><p>另外一提的是，我們訂的時候大概是290歐元，但是幾個月之後，價錢降了一點，但是歐元升了一點。一降一漲來回其實台幣差不多，所以我們就沒有重新訂了（取消政策是可以這樣做的）</p><p>在信件裡面提供相關資訊(飯店、人數、你的熱氣球選擇)，Royal Ballon會給一個信用卡付款連結。基本上只要付款完就OK了。</p><h3 id="heading-h3-6">熱氣球當天</h3><p>前一天Royal Ballon有來信提醒隔天的接送時間。<br>在當天一大清早，Royal Ballon就派九人座車來各處載人到他們的飯店，也是集合處。提供早餐有一些麵包飲料，在這裡他們宣布了今天沒有辦法飛，提供了<strong>退費</strong>或者保留到<strong>第二天等待名單</strong>上面。然後就把客人送了回去。<strong>第二天等待名單</strong>是不保證可以飛，也不保證是日出團，要看第二天有沒有空間，預計在當天十點之後會確定。<br>在這等待期間我們一邊去尋找有沒有第二天確定有日出團名額的熱氣球公司，但是每一間都跟我們說也是要等到十點之後確定，或者就沒名額了。那天剛好是那周第二天沒得飛的日子，所以每間公司都有累積下來的遊客吧。<br>到了九點半，Royal Ballon來信確認可以幫我們一樣排進去隔天的日出團。只是說原本可以坐16人的小熱氣球，得換到20人的。</p><p>隔天一樣的流程，這次在飯店等待終於得到了確認可以飛的消息，大家又坐上九人座，前往熱氣球的施放地。眾人散落在熱氣球周遭，會有人唱名並魚貫進入熱氣球。特別提及的一點是，熱氣球一個大籃子被分成幾個區塊，熱氣球公司說因為太多人遞補所以每個區塊大概塞了六人不等。基本上人站好就顯得水洩不通，與其他人前胸貼後背，但是我們這個區塊就只有我和朋友們共四人。空間十分寬敞，可以欄內互換空間拍照。我想跟原本Royal Ballon答應我們可以升級有關?</p><h3 id="heading-h3-7">總結</h3><p>我們對於這次Royal Ballon的經驗十分滿意，畢竟旅程中這類預定活動最重視的就是可不可以得到你被承諾的東西。</p></body></html>
